Designing your custom invitation suite will begin with a consultation (phone or in-person). At this time, I want to hear all about the details of your big day, your personality as a couple, and style. This is also when you can provide me with images or a Pinterest board with inspiration for your big day. I cannot wait to see an inspiration you have already saved!
I will provide you with a detailed quote of your wedding stationery and you can select the add-on options you would like to include. Based on our conversation at the consultation, I will also provide you with a personalized time line of the process.
Once you have chosen your invitation suite based on the quote, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due in order for Sylvia Stremming Designs to start design work. A contract will also be sent to sign at this time. Payment options include online and via check.
After the deposit is received, you will be asked to send the text for each piece of the suite. Text must be final before sending it for for the design process. If you need help with text and etiquette, please do not hesitate to ask. You will then receive your first round of design proofs via email.
Via email, you will provide any edits to the designs that you would like to see. I want your invitations to be perfect! There is a limit of 4 proofs (including initial proof). After 4 proofs, an additional fee will incur.
A final proof will be sent for your review that you will sign off on. The remaining balance is then due at this time. Payment options include online and via check. (Illinois sales tax will be applied to orders within Illinois.)
Once payment is received, your order will be put into printing production and shipped to you! Final invitation can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered depending on the complexity of the order. Invitations should be mailed to your guests 6 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding, so please allow for this time frame.
