I have had a blast over on Instagram this past month! The Wedding Anniversary Collection officially launches tomorrow (come back tomorrow for a full introduction!), so I’ve been gearing up for it over on Instagram. I asked my friends and family to share a wedding photo and a wedding or anniversary memory with me to share with you.
Each couple celebrates their anniversary in a special way. No matter how they celebrate – taking a trip, a quiet night at home, or a big party surrounded by family – it just matters that they couple recognizes they’ve faced another year together. Each year is a year to celebrate the strong bond between a couple. I invite you to go over to Instagram and check out all 29 days of wedding photos and memories. I’ll be posting day 30 on my hubby and I’s third anniversary. It’s a photo of my role models for an enduring marriage.
Since Josh has worked night shift or mandatory overtime nearly every anniversary, we decided to stretch out our fifth anniversary as long as possible by going on a road trip to New England (a dream I’ve had for years). We’ve stood on the top of a mountain, toured mansions, and dipped our feet in the Atlantic Ocean. We’ve seen some of the most picturesque places in the country, but my favorite part has been finally sharing quality, purposeful time together. In the midst of all of the big and impressive things around us, I love the little things–holding hands in the car, singing old country music, hunting for lighthouses, watching him fly fish, and eating lobster (no frills) on the side of the road. The best gift is time. photographer: Erin Case
Our 1 year anniversary isn’t until August 16, but my hubs David and I celebrated every month we have been married (1-8) by watching a Harry Potter movie! It’s been a really fun tradition and date night to look forward to during our first 8 months of marriage! photographer: Bri McDaniel Photography
